Calvin Social Dancing
![The Calvin Scottish Country Dance group in Toronto is a social group. We meet weekly to dance for fun.
Lessons can be had through the Toronto SCD Association although we do learn figures and formations as needed for various dances.
Monthly social dances are held by the Toronto Association. All are welcome. [visit Toronto Core Events]
New Dances
We do not dance a regular program at Calvin. Most often I have a plan and depending on who arrives that plan changes.
I’ve been known to create dances on the spot (as most teachers do when numbers change) and I’ve been asked to make them available to the group. Some are listed here with credit for the originals being indicated.
