2022: July 16 - 44th Annual Orillia Scottish Festival
Individual dancers will be matched up to form sets (if enough spares) and will dance three short simple dances. This has been very well received and enjoyed by thousands of spectators over the years.
Dances for the Opening Ceremonies are chosen for a basic level dancer and each dance is easily demonstrated on grass. We will dance three short, simple dances:
Hooper’s Jig, Friendships (strathspey, 3rd Graded Book), and Maxwell’s Rant.
Parade 12:00 pm. Opening Ceremonies 1:30 pm.

2022: Sept 25 - Oct 02 - 45th Australian Winter School
The Institute offers excellent single rooms in recently refurbished accommodation. Dempster House, where all meals are served, is a State Heritage-listed homestead built in 1891. Classes will be held at the Institute or in Northam.
Please join us for a great week of dancing with terrific teachers and musicians.
The town of Northam, seven kilometres away, contains many fine examples of 19th century architecture and is the home of hot air ballooning in Western Australia. In spring, this area on the edge of the West Australian wheat belt is renowned for its wildflowers and birdlife.

2022: Saturday, Nov 5 - 100 years of Dancing in the Waterloo Region
Kitchener-Waterloo Branch of the RSCDS was established in 1960;
Blair Scottish Country Dancers group was established in 1980. Add those legacies together and we can celebrate 100 years of dancing in Waterloo Region.
Come join us, and dance on a sprung wood floor at the Alpine Club in Kitchener to the Music of Don Bartlett & The Scottish Heirs.
