Broadlends Special Afternoon Classes

Broadlands is a community centre where we hold special SCD classes. The classes are on various Sunday afternoons (sometimes changed to Saturday afternoon) and are taught by a variety of teachers. The classes give dancers a chance to take a class from someone new and to experience a different set of dances.

Typically, classes have a theme, such as a focus on dances by a particular devisor, or dances with particular figures, or dances the teacher likes and never gets to teach! Each class is unique and it’s always fun.

The teacher and the theme will determine which level of dancer that the class is aimed at. Some classes will be aimed at intermediate and advanced dancers and some at the beginner level. Tartan ball practices will be held here and are aimed at beginner and intermediate dancers.

The dates, teachers, and topics will posted in Set&Link and on this webpage.

Cost is $10 (cash only) at the door. Spectators are welcome.
