Teacher: Tristan Gerrie began dancing as a child with Betty Thompson before joining Georgina Finlay’s youth class. He obtained Part 1 of his teaching certificate at TAC and received his full certificate in St. Andrews, Scotland in 2024.

Beginner dancers learn five basic steps of Scottish country dance and a variety of formations. These elements are combined in simple fun dances that incorporate steps and formations taught.
