
Scottish Step Dances (previously called Ladies Step Dances) are a ‘balletic” form of Highland dances, typically done by women. Read more about Step dancing here.
Date of the first class: Sunday, April 19
Time: 1:30 – 3:30pm
Location: ‘The Talent Room’, Unit 12, 1100 Invicta Drive, Oakville (This is a dance studio with a large parking lot, conveniently located just off the QEW, east of Trafalgar Road).
Cost: $10
Theme of the 1st class: The dance ‘The Rose of Benbecula’ will be taught. Also included will be basic highland steps used in Scottish Country Dancing, for example Glasgow Highlanders.
