Sunday, May 3 ~ Bluebell Ball, Tokyo

Tokyo Scottish Blue Bell Club invites you to our annual Bluebell Ball.
Toronto dancers will be especially welcome this year. Toronto teacher and devisor, Betty Grant, devised a dance for the Blue Bell club — a square-set jig she named “Chrysanthemum”. The flower has special meaning in Japan. In remembrance of Betty and David Grant’s visit long ago, and an upcoming visit by their daughter, “Chrysanthemum” will be on the 2026 ball programme.
You’ll dance to the amazing music of the Bluebell SCD Trio, with fiddle, flute, recorder, bassoon, and piano.
