    Join us for CAMMAC 2026, a weekend getaway to immerse yourself in Scottish country dancing and the great outdoors. Get ready to dance, unwind, and gather with friends new and old at the CAMMAC Music Centre situated on the picturesque shores of Lake MacDonald, halfway between Ottawa and Montreal. This is an all-inclusive weekend with all accommodations, meals, and classes on-site.

  • June 24 – 28  ~ Summer Course, Kuckucksnest, Schlüchtern

    We look forward to a colorful and lively mix in our Summer Course, in the historic seminar house Kuckucksnest, we have information on accommodation, food and other useful tips summarized in this document: Kuckucksnest.

    Our workshops are taught in English, and give you the opportunity to improve and/or learn something new. The courses are divided into different levels (Intermediate and advanced). Before signing up, please have a look at this page: course level list.

  • July 10-18 ~ Pinewoods Scottish Sessions 2026

    Scottish Session I: July 10-13, 2026; Scottish Session II: July 13-18, 2026

    RSCDS Boston Branch invites you to the woods of Plymouth for Scottish Country Dancing beneath the tall pines. You’ll enjoy dance and music classes during the day, and social dancing every night. We also have parties, charity auctions, and ceilidhs — plus chances to jam or sing together, swim or boat in the beautiful ponds, or relax in the beauty of the woods.     This year’s theme is “Pinewoods Ghost Story”, so be prepared for some slightly spooky goings-on! Maybe a Halloween costume dance, a trick-or-treat party, or a Pinewoods ghost tour? Stay tuned for details


  • September 18-20 ~ SCD Weekend Hamburg 2026, Germany

    The Scottish Country Dancers of Hamburg are looking forward to a weekend full of dancing with many guests from near and far, inspiring teachers, and great musicians. The highlight will be a ball including a buffet dinner.

    RSCDS Paris Branch invites advanced dancers to their October Weekend – October 9th-11th, 2026!

  • October 30 – November 1 ~ Asilomar Weekend, RSCDS San Francisco

    Join us at Asilomar, on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, just 120 miles south of San Francisco. This is a spectacular state park, with historic buildings designed by Julia Morgan, 107 acres of woodlands, sand dunes, and ocean beach. It’s an ideal setting for a magical weekend of Scottish country dancing. Asilomar offers charming, modern guest rooms, set in a rustic, restful setting and promises you an unforgettable weekend dancing in beautiful Merrill Hall. You’ll have classes with world-class teachers and outstanding musicians.

    This event is still in the planning stage but save the date. You will enjoy two great teachers, wonderful live music, and a great venue in Northern Italy.

  • February 12-14, 2027 ~ Aloha Winter Weekend Workshop, Hawaii

    Next winter might be even longer and more difficult than the winter just passed. RSCDS Hawaii has a great suggestion for a midwinter break . . . think of enjoying a delightful workshop with us in a delight, warm place.

    We’ll have a great teacher, and the great music of the delightfully named  Humuhumunukunukuapua’a & Strathspey Society Band.

    • Friday night we have a meet-and-greet event and a social dance.
    • Classes take place Saturday morning and afternoon.
    • Saturday night dinner is followed by a Ball.
    • Sunday morning there is a class and . . .
    • Sunday evening we have a Ceilidh.
    • The band plays for evening events and classes.

  • 2027, April 2-4 ~ SCD Weekend in Rome, Italy

    ROIS (a Scottish/Irish dance school in Rome), and RSCDS Northern Italy Branch are delighted to announce we are collaborating to host the first-ever Scottish Country Dance Weekend in Rome! The event will be in English. The weekend celebrates 10 years of ROIS!
