February 27 – March 1 ~ Oslo Winter Workshop

Oslo Scottish Dance Club invites you to a cheerful workshop in Norway! Oslo has an active group of dancers with enthusiastic teachers. We have regular social dances and our annual Burns’ Ceilidh keep us all on our toes. We host occasional workshops with invited teachers and musicians, we warmly invite visitors to join us. It’s a lot of fun so please save the date.

The West End Workshop will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Humberwood Community Centre in north Etobicoke. Our teacher from overseas this year is Samuele Graziani coming from Bologna, Italy and our local teacher is Erica de Gannes.

April 10-12 ~ Spring Fling & Fringe in Lyon, France

Spring Fling is a weekend of dance, organised by young people, for young people, supported by the Youth Services Committee. Each year the event is held in a different location and, in 2026, Lyon will be the host city. Spring Fling is open to dancers aged 35 and under and all those attending can look forward to a fantastic weekend of dancing, socialising and making friends. Dancers above 35 are welcome to participate in Spring Fling dance events and enjoy a special dance and tourist program.

May 1 – 3 ~ Catalina Island Workshop & Ball, Southern California

Join friends you don’t know yet, at a quaint offshore island.

Music: by renowned East Coast band, “Thistle House”
Weekend price of $295 includes: Friday night dinner and Ceilidh; Saturday and Sunday morning workshops and optional ball review; Saturday night plated dinner and ball in the beautiful historic Casino Ballroom

May 22-24 ~ Stoney Lake Weekend

Peterborough Scottish Country Dance Society will be hosting the Stoney Lake Weekend on May 22—24, this year. This will be the 39th year for this event!
We are thrilled to announce that the guest teachers will be Blair Gerrie and Tristan Gerrie! Click here to see their bios.
Once again music will be provided by Don Bartlett and Blair Mackenzie. This duo creates beautiful dance music together. Click here to see their bios.
Dancing will be at the historic Upper Stoney Lake pavilion, a five-minute drive from Pine Vista resort. The resort is giving us a 10% discount but you can’t book it online. To arrange accommodation, Julie & Kevin Drain would like you to call 1-800-634-2848 or 705-877-2108.

For those who haven’t attended before, the schedule is well paced: after dancing Friday night there is a get-acquainted time at the resort. Classes are Saturday morning at the pavilion. Afternoon is free time with option of ball dance rehearsal. You will be piped into dinner at Hobarts Restaurant overlooking Stoney Lake. The ball will be at the pavilion, with ceilidh afterwards at Pine Vista (bring your piece!). Sunday morning includes a brief, casual dance time and the weekend concludes with brunch.

Join us for CAMMAC 2026, a weekend getaway to immerse yourself in Scottish country dancing and the great outdoors.
