Joan Plumb Reeves 1934-2026
 
Beloved wife of John, and dear friend of Scottish Country Dancers — near and far.
Joan started teaching in Peterborough in the 1990s for PSCDS. She especially enjoyed teaching Basic Class.

Joan was a founder and enthusiastic promoter of the Stoney Lake Dance Weekend.  Both she and John were passionate supporters of TAC,  promoting, organizing and supporting newly certified teachers.  

She enjoyed journalism, and the “power of the pen”, always tilting at windmills and having her say in Peterborough editorials. She was our feisty friend and we all shall miss her, dearly.
 
A memorial service will be held on January 30, 2026 at Noon at All Saints Anglican Church in Peterborough, Ontario. A visitation will precede the service from 10-11:30am and a reception will
immediately follow the service.
