Nov 17 & 24: We’ll cover the December Monthly Dance (see/download programme here). If there’s a dance you definitely want covered let me know ASAP.
1 st Dec: This will be our “Welcome to Summer, Eh! Summer in the Land Down Under”, with
dances connected to Australia & New Zealand.8 th Dec: This is a “dancers’ request” night. Please get your requests in ASAP as it can take time
for me to find the original instructions to lesser known dances.29 th Dec: We can have a Hogmanay-New Year theme, or just launch into the January Monthly
dance programme as there are only two classes before the dance, and there’s quite a number

Clairside (the group formerly known as Tayside Morning)
Invitation: We invite any interested dancers (beginners welcome) to join us on Tuesday mornings
Time: 10:30am – noon
Season 2025/26: September 9 – December 9, 2025; January 6 – May 12, 2026

About the group: The Tayside Morning Group has been welcomed to a different church in the same neighbourhood, and we changed our name to avoid confusion with Tayside Evening Group, which also has a new location (see below). Clairside is branding itself as a low impact class. If the spring has sprung from your steps, and you don’t like driving at night (especially in the winter), then perhaps Clairside is the class for you!
How to get there: if you are driving – just east of Pharmacy Ave., lots of free parking behind the church, off Eastdale Crescent. If you take TTC, Clairlea Park Church is on a bus route, and two blocks from Warden Subway. -
Tayside
Invitation: All dancers are invited to join the class (beginners included), to enjoy Blair Gerrie’s skillful
instruction and interesting dances. Masks are optional.Time: 7:30 – 9:30pm

About the group: Tayside meets in the First Hungarian Presbyterian Church in a beautiful, newly-renovated space. No more dancing in a basement, on a tile-on-concrete floor!

How to get there: Located near O’Connor/Eglinton Ave East. First Hungarian has a large parking lot. -
Don Mills
Invitation: Join us on the dance floor for an easy and pleasant social evening (with appropriate protocols). Cost is $5 per class.
Time: 7:30 – 9:30pm
Season 2025/26: September 9, 2025 to May 26, 2026
Location: Banbury Community Centre, 120 Banbury Road, (S. off York Mills W. of Leslie)

About the group: We dance Tuesday evenings in a very nice space, with a good wood floor. We have a jovial, life-long dancer for our teacher: Sandra Scott.

Woodglen
Invitation: We invite any interested dancers (beginners welcome) to join us on Friday nights
Warning! Due to church events classes on October 31 and November 7 are cancelled
Time: 7:45 – 9:45pm
Fall 2025: September 12 – December 12
Location: Fallingbrook Presbyterian Church, Kingston Rd. at Wood Glen, Scarborough (Halfway between Victoria Park & Warden)
