Invitation: Beyond Third will be a dance home for you if you are experienced, appreciate technique,
are comfortable with advanced-level figures, and have a good sense of phrasingDays: Occasional Fridays, mostly biweekly

About the group: Beyond Third aims to attract dancers who aspire to high accomplishment in dance — i.e. advanced-level dancers who wish to further develop dancing skills.
Beginning of a class (7 pm to 8:15 pm) is dedicated to dancing at a level which requires the use of full stamina to achieve the highest level of technique (high impact dancing). This part of the class is optional. Dancers who do not dance at this level are welcome to the dance studio at 8 pm to warm up and be ready to join after 8:15 pm.

Membership: $20 per year and entitles the holder to $5 off the cost of the monthly dances.)

About the group: We are a Scottish Country Dancing Social Group formed in September 1956 and affiliated with RSCDS Scotland. The 2025-2026 year marks our 70th Anniversary. Monthly dances are held September to April on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Download our membership form.

Shiftin’ Bobbins (A Toronto group directly affiliated with RSCDS Scotland (not-RSCDS Toronto)
Invitation:
Season 2025/2026: Established in 2010 , the group offers intermediate & advanced level Scottish Country Dancing for those who feel comfortable with their footwork, phrasing, prior knowledge of RSCDS formations and the ability to assimilate instruction quickly.
Meeting once monthly on a Sunday afternoon in central Toronto with a different certificated MC for each session the group attracts dancers from across Southern Ontario and Western New York State.
The annual May Ball and St.Andrew’s Dances are legendary.
