Scarborough classes for December:
Dear Scarborough SCDers,
Monday 19th January 6.30-9.30pm our “Burns is Back”! I have a “MON-STER” 6-pound haggis to “Feed the 5000”, so “spread the word” at your other classes.
Our Scarborough members will provide “sides” of “neeps & tatties” and other treats such as “pies & pudding”. BUT. . . those from other clubs are welcome to contribute “pot luck” to the “bill of fare”.
Bill Goodfellow, our olde friend from Scarborough class of yesteryear will deliver the “Address to a Haggis”, in his authentic Scottish Accent.
For the 1st time in many-a-year, our olde Scarborough member, Donald Horner (Wee Donald as he’s affectionately known) will give “The Immortal Memory”, an account of the life & times of Robert Burns. And to have you “rolling in the aisles”… Donald will also give his unique alternate parody on “Address to a Haggis”.
Cost: $15 CASH at the door.
