Young Adults Events Grant
The Youth Committee has launched a new scholarship (up to $300) for dancers under age 35 to attend youth-oriented events. See the scholarships page for complete details… (coming soon)
Society Grants & Scholarships
The Society offers a variety for grants and scholarships for Teacher Candidates, youth, and ordinary dancers. International Branch also has a scholarship programme. T.A.C. (Teachers Association, Canada) has opportunities for Teacher Candidates and musicians.
Scholarships for Teacher Candidates (consult the advice of your teacher)
Teacher candidates can progress to certification through the Teachers’ Association of Canada (TAC) or through the RSCDS — at their respective Summer Schools. RSCDS Toronto typically offers a teachers candidate course every other year (next would be Sept 2026), but only if they have a minimum of 6 people interested in taking the course. RSCDS Toronto offers a $750 scholarship to Members in Good Standing of the Toronto Association to go towards their course at either of the summer schools or in Toronto. Deadline for applications is April 4th 2026. For more details click here.
